THE 7 ELEMENTS OF THE BE MYTHICAL PATH

GODDESS IN MY BED (Or why I lie in)
She whispers from the sheets,
her voice an inner smile –
Stay in sweet surrender
and I’ll make it worth your while.
To my Sisters, Everywhere
I see your selfies.
Your smiles concealed by
duck faces.
Your duck face concealed by
filters.
And despite it all,
your swan.
I see your breast milk,
secretly spattered everywhere,
like a crime scene under UV light.
I see your liquid gold
and raise you
up.
7 things I’ve learned from 7 years running my (soul-led) business
To create a business, a real business – the beautiful, fantastical, edgy af, playful and love-fuelled one that your soul is inconveniently calling you to – takes time. Time to hear your soul’s call, time to find the courage to heed it and then a lot more time than you believe at the start that you can or will give it before it ‘works’.
How will you celebrate yourself?
That’s one of the things I regularly say to our clients. I’m asking how they’ll celebrate an expansion in their being, reaching a milestone in their business, or taking especially challenging aligned action.
The power of story… what stories are you telling about yourself?
I’ve been lying in bed looking through old photos with the children. The timing is interesting because this month in Waking The Wild Medicine we’ve been entering the crucible of Story (especially the telling of the story of our wounds and gifts… and telling them from Sovereignty), so my younger self has already been more in my awareness than usual.
When I accept myself just as I am, then I can change
“The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.”
~ Carl Rogers
Embodying the Feminine…
For most of my life I believed that the Feminine was weak, spoilt, illogical, manipulative, selfish, inconvenient, and did I say weak? But the more I heal and integrate my relationship to the Feminine, the more I see who I really am and where my true power lies.
Only one reason…
It’s taken a very long time to love this woman: how she moves, how she thinks, how she speaks, how she feels, how she creates, and finally… how she looks. There’s a bazillion different reasons *not* to love ourselves – Fear can make every one of them compelling, convincing and reasonable.
Who are you becoming?
“The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are.” – Carl Gustav Jung
For me, that privilege means becoming a vessel for the Divine Feminine, Love, Magic and Beauty to pour through into the world… even and especially when it seems unwelcome, idealistic, fantastical, impractical and as provocative as Hell (and Heaven).
On being provocative…
I’m often told that I provoke people… to think; to feel; to open; to close; to Fear; to Love. It’s not exactly been an easy path but it’s one I’m growing to love as I see its gifts – the material for liberation it provides for me and others.
Three years and three vows…
Three years ago I took a vow to serve the archetypal Feminine. It felt like a choiceless choice, I had no clear idea then why I was making it or what it would require of me.
‘A tribute to you – Queen Lian Brook-Tyler’
It takes a great Sage Queen to see, feel and speak from the depths of her heart and soul… I am fortunate enough to call one such as she a client and now soul sister… Elizabeth Lovius, who opened my heart beyond measure with these gifts and words.
How you become your niche (or your niche becomes you)
Seven years ago when I first became a coach I honestly didn’t have anything resembling a niche, though I suspect the delusions of grandeur baked into the copy on my website said otherwise. Really, I just “helped people” – typically they were people with anxiety, depression, OCD or stress and I helped them to have peace of mind.
The Knight
‘The Knight’ so beautifully illustrates what happens when we guide people down the path of Waking The Wild… they’re liberated from compression, allowing them to stretch their limbs and hear their full voices.
